Frends is growing and as a result the product development team is looking for a new role a teammate who has experience in UI/UX design. 

Together with the team, you will be responsible for implementing the product user experience by designing new user flows that do not require a navigator to get through. You will improve and redesign the user interface with usable and functional interactions. You will be working in the product development process to build an innovative product together with the team.

Frends is our own low-code, hybrid integration platform with its roots spanning back three decades. So the product is not in its very early stages and certainly not stuck in the 90's - it has been and is constantly being developed. The latest incarnation of the product utilizes modern technologies and cloud services. The vision for Frends is to be the leading eiPaaS in the Nordics and European market.

We wish that you would take part in implementing the designs that you have made, but you do not have to be a full JavaScript guru to get started. The role can be tailored to fit your skills and personal development goals.

We require that you have already gained at least a few years of professional experience as a UI/UX design and relevant studies.

We value expertise in the following skills

  • UI/UX Design

  • UI Development

  • creativity, can-do attitude and strong communication skills

Knowledge or interest of the following are big plus, but not a must: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript / React, Webpack, Git.

  • You need to be able to communicate fluently in English,

    as the working language of the team is English. Most of the team speaks also Finnish.

  • Remote work is possible, but we also require working in our Espoo, Finland office.

  • The interviews will be held in August.

  • The start is flexible during Autumn according to your situation.
