Henri Burtsov appointed as HiQ’s Head of Cyber Business
Technology and software consultancy HiQ has appointed Henri Burtsov as Head of Cyber. Burtsov, who joins HiQ from the Finnish Social Insurance Institution Kela, will be responsible for the growth and internationalisation of the company’s cyber business, as well as the development of the Cloudflare business.
Henri Burtsov has been appointed as the new Head of Cyber Business at the IT consulting company HiQ. Burtsov joins from Kela, where he has worked for more than a decade in various positions, most recently as head of the information security unit.
At HiQ, Burtsov will be primarily responsible for growing and scaling the company’s existing cyber business. This is a new role at HiQ. The company aims to better serve large, security-critical organisations in particular. Burtsov will also take the lead in developing HiQ’s Cloudflare business.
Burtsov holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Jyväskylä, majoring in information systems science. His core competencies include scaling security operations, improving security quality and capabilities, and ensuring business continuity.
