Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for a finance sector client project.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation system and tasks.
  • Utilize your solid understanding of algorithms and software development cycles to create effective and efficient test automation solutions.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework.
  • Manual testing (release and explaratory testing).
  • Collaborate with different teams, including developers, quality assurance, and product management, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, report, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • At least a few years of experience in building and developing test automation system or tasks
  • Strong experience in manual testing (release and explaratory testing)
  • Experience in implementing and developing quality assurance practices
  • Solid understanding of algorithm and software development cycle
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
  • At least some fundamental coding experience in Python or any other programming languages
  • Ability to solve challenging technical problems
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English

Beneficial:

  • Previous experience in the financial sector

Assignment information:

  • Start: May / June
  • Duration: until 31.12.2025
  • Allocation: 100 %
  • Location: Helsinki, hybrid (onsite work 1-3 times per week)
