The Levi Resort app was launched in the darkest hours of 2020, on the eve of an exceptional winter season marked by travel restrictions. Despite the freezing conditions in the tourism industry, the season at the ski resort was a success, as was the Levi Resort app, which rose to the top of the AppStore travel category in terms of downloads shortly after its launch. Since then, the app, which enhances ski resort visits with digital services and a loyalty program, has established itself as a happy exception among travel apps with its exhilarating user experience and comprehensive service content.
In Midsummer 2021, Levi Ski Resort announced the first major feature update to the Levi Resort app. With the update, the app with its 3D maps received fresh summer colors and a robust and fresh content package covering a wide range of Levi’s summer season services, such as the Levi Bike Park, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, the area’s mountain biking and hiking trails, the toboggan run, the adventure park and other activities.
In addition, the application has been updated with a traditional map covering a wider geographical area, alongside the already classic 3D map, minor tweaks based on customer feedback, and countless improvements under the hood to improve stability and performance.
The HiQ team worked on the update with a creative yet critical approach, extensive technical expertise, and uncompromising quality awareness and project discipline.
I’m a summer person myself, and this was an important update for me personally. In addition to adding new content, it felt good to find magic to improve already good performance and usability as part of the best team. It’s projects like this that brought me to this industry and to HiQ.
