Senior DevOps Specialist
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Specialist for a finance sector client project.
We are asking candidate to fill at least some of these requirements:
- Strong expertise in maintenance and administration of production Kubernetes clusters
- Expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation (deployments automation)
- Strong experience with Linux system administration in production
- Containerization technologies (Docker & Containerd)
- Experience in coding/scripting for automation (GitOps -mindset)
- Experience with Configuration Management / Deployment tools (git, Jenkins)
- Experience with DevOps orchestration tools – e.g. Jenkins pipelines (Groovy), Ansible, Python, Linux scripting
- Experience with logging and monitoring solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Platform security emphasis
- Ability to address shortcomings and independently initiate corrective actions
- Ability to explain issues clearly and concisely and establish effective working relationships in a distributed and global team
- In urgent maintenance needs readiness to work outside office hours
- Good communication and collaboration skills in English
Beneficial:
- Being Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) would be a plus
- Hands-on experience with VMWare virtualization
- Hands-on experience with Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Experience with networks administration and common network protocols
- Capability to provide Competence transfer of the K8s platform maintenance
Assignment information:
- Start: August
- Duration: until 31.12.2025
- Allocation: 100 %
- Location: Helsinki or Oulu, hybrid (1-3 times per week in the office) + travelling to Helsinki/Oulu occasionally
