Lead Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer for a finance sector client project

Please note that this position requires fluency in written and spoken Finnish.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in data solutions and their development, as well as an understanding of data integrations and data pipeline (ETL / ELT) development
  • Experience in leading a team of developers and supporting them in their professional growth
  • Experience with: IBM DataStage, Teradata (TPT, BTEQ, Viewpoint, etc), Azure, Databricks, Control-M, GIT, Jenkins, Python, Robot Framework
  • Understanding of data warehousing data modeling
  • Understanding of data architecture and the ability to translate information needs into technical solutions without jeopardizing the usability for end-users
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • A goal-oriented and analytical way of working, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in multi-vendor environments, coordinating and guiding both local and offshore teams
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and the ability to evaluate technical solutions throughout the development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills in both Finnish and English

Beneficial:

  • Understanding of code generation, metadata management, and CI/CD tools
  • Experience in the financial sector

Assignment information:

  • Start: January / February
  • Duration: until 31.1.2026
  • Allocation: 100 %
  • Location: Helsinki / hybrid (onsite work 1-3 times per week + when needed)

Please note that the assignment requires a completed security clearance.
