HiQ is looking for an experienced Test Engineer for a long term client project in Stockholm (on-site 2 days / week).
We are looking for an experienced test engineer to join our client's Software Engineering team in Sweden to support quality assurance and testing on the Nordic level. The role starts with the manual testing but has a potential to grow into various directions (test automation, test leadership, quality assurance management, and so on).
Experience of working in test or QA engineer roles with web and mobile app solutions
Knowledge and understanding of test-related terminology and processes
Professional competence in quality assurance and testing (ISTQB or similar)
Understanding of the SDLC, agile frameworks, and project management processes
High-level understanding of current software architecture trends and the technology landscape for mobile and web applications
Familiarity with how software is built and delivered to customers, and with how the typical code-collaboration tools work
Experience with: TestRail or alike, Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Ability to detect, investigate, report, and support the troubleshooting of issues using the industry-standard tools
Experience of working with complex integration projects and distributed systems
Experience of working with cross-functional development teams, product owners and project managers, in agile and other software development frameworks
Experience of working remotely and across countries, handling cultural and time differences
Driving licence
Good communication skills in written and oral Swedish and English
Experience of working with build tools and CI/CD pipelines
Prior experience from e-commerce or finance/ digital payment industry
