Pricing Specialist

We are looking for a Pricing Specialist for a long-term client project.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge/Experience in some of the following:
    • Genuine interest in, and strong understanding of basic pricing methodologies and principles: Demonstrates a deep knowledge of pricing strategies, including cost-plus, value-based, and competitive pricing.
    • Strong logical reasoning skills: Utilizes analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop and refine pricing algorithms and models, ensuring they are robust, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
    • Business and customer-oriented mindset: Balances the needs of the business with customer expectations, ensuring pricing strategies enhance customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability.
    • Managing the development of new pricing products and features: Design and implement new pricing tools and features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
    • Pricing technologies related production support and maintenance activities: maintenance and support of pricing systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing regular updates, and ensuring data integrity.
    • Configuration and maintenance of pricing systems: Develops, updates, and maintains pricing formulas and configurations within the pricing technology platforms, ensuring they reflect current market conditions and business strategies.
    • Continuous improvement and innovation: Identifies opportunities for enhancing pricing processes and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
    • Training and support: Provides training and support to users of the pricing systems, ensuring they understand how to utilize the tools effectively and can troubleshoot basic issues independently.
    • Data analysis and reporting: Conducts detailed data analysis to monitor pricing performance, generate insights, and produce reports that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Good communication skills in English
