HiQ receives information from the registrant himself, and from public or paid marketing registry or search services to perform his duties. Public registers may also be entered in the registers of persons for whom HiQ is seeking to establish a customer or employment relationship or HiQ is in the process of establishing a customer relationship. In addition, HiQ shall have the right, subject to the provisions on confidentiality, to obtain from authorities and public officials the information necessary for the performance of its duties.
