Savings Banks' Union (Säästöpankkiliitto) needed an integration partner as well as an integration platform to handle system integrations and service layer API needs in an agile and cost-effective manner. The aim was to get solutions to market faster and also be able to do experiments with a lower threshold. The support and maintenance services included in the partnership ensure business continuity.

Savings Banks' Union has been particularly pleased with the speed with which integrations and APIs are done. This is made possible by frends' low-code approach, where APIs and process automation are developed visually. Process control is also done in the same visual way, making operations more efficient. Costs also remain moderate in terms of both implementation and use. In terms of process engine reliability and simplicity of implementation, Savings Banks' Union estimates that the brand is clearly ahead of other iPaaS competitors. You don't have to order everything, but you can genuinely do the implementations yourself. Nor does a low threshold for doing so bind a customer to just one supplier.

Savings Banks' Union also sees frends as the hyperautomation platform of the future - that is, as a link between integration platform, software robotics (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI). By connecting all the process automation in the same place it's easy to achieve great efficiency benefits.
