On Matkahuolto´s digitalization journey, one significant step is to utilize Microsoft Teams to make teamwork and communication easier for the whole personnel. Matkahuolto has 700 employees that work in different locations, thus fluent collaboration regardless of time and place is very important.
Matkahuolto planned the Teams roll out with HiQ Finland. HiQ supported Matkahuolto in technical activities and user adoption.
Using Microsoft Teams meant a totally different way of working together, because Matkahuolto didn´t have any modern tools for remote or teamwork before. We are significantly developing our customer experience and digital services, and as a part of that we also need to modernize our organisation culture and collaboration. HiQ guided us to use Microsoft Teams very well and supported us in user adoption.

HiQ and Matkahuolto had common workshops where Teams use cases were thought through and HiQ held Teams trainings especially for managers and supervisors. In addition to that, a roadshow to Matkahuolto´s premises around Finland was arranged to provide hands on support for end users. HiQ also supported in planning communication and support materials for end users and Teams governance model.

Matkahuolto had a real need for Microsoft Teams because old solutions were not reliable and didn´t enable modern collaboration. Now online meetings, instant messaging and teamwork tools can all be found from the same user interface.
