The Finnish Golf Union has chosen HiQ as a new partner for eBirdie system. HiQ will take over the maintenance of the eBirdie service - the Finnish Golf Union’s eBirdie mobile application and the interface services that connect the systems and service providers. HiQ will also be responsible for the technical customer support of the whole system and will continue to be a key developer of the eBirdie ecosystem in cooperation with the Golf Union and other golf system providers.
The agreement with HiQ provides us with a solid foundation and diverse network of expertise that will allow us to continue the digitalisation of Suomi Golf, which has taken great strides, as part of our updated strategy.

After a three-year contract period, it was time for the Finnish Golf Union to look at their needs in the light of the new strategy. On the basis of the tender’s selection process launched by the Union, HiQ was chosen as a new developer and administrator for the Union’s digital services.
The Finnish Golf Union’s decision to choose HiQ was based on HiQ’s strong presentation, diverse expertise and the passion and understanding of golf. There were a lot of good proposals taking part in the tender, so the choice was positively challenging.
“We finally came to the conclusion that by combining the Golf Union’s industry expertise and the resources of a large IT player, we will achieve the best result,” Hartikainen continues.
HiQ is looking forward to cooperating with Suomi Golf with great enthusiasm.

About the Finnish Golf Union
