HiQ Finland has long prepared for the separation of its business operations. Following the implemented split-up, HiQ's IT consulting and Frends' integration business will continue as two separate entities. The division strengthens the strategies of both businesses, aiming to provide the best possible conditions for the development of both HiQ and Frends.

"With the division, we can communicate more clearly to clients and job seekers about what we do. As separate entities, business decisions are more straightforward when each organization focuses on its own area. Naturally, close collaboration in client projects will continue as before," comments Janne Ahonen, Managing Director of HiQ Oy.

"The division is part of our growth strategy's implementation, enabling 100% focus on the independent development of Frends. Our plan includes significant investments in the Frends product, the execution of an international growth strategy, and strengthening functions that support growth. During 2024, new foundations will be built in both Central Europe and Asia," added Jukka Rautio, CEO of Frends.

The division has no impact on the operational activities of the companies, such as personnel or customers. Both companies will continue as wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Swedish company HiQ International AB.

Before the division, HiQ Finland's turnover was approximately 47 million euros, with a staff of 270.
